Answering Calls
This format is standard reception response and works for a number of reasons:
- The initial greeting lets callers realise the call has been answered, (in case they are distracted).
- They hear the voice answer and then give their attention to the phone.
- Even if distracted, they catch the greeting and are attentive enough to hear the "company name" following.
- The "How may we help you" follow up lets the caller know, we have finished speaking and it’s their turn to talk.
This format saves time and gives the best response. However, if you want something different, we can script it in.
